Is 'House' and 'Grey's Anatomy' bad for you?

A recent research study by Yinjiao Ye, assistant professor of communication studies, concludes that watching TV medical shows may make viewers fear illness. It's a topic that has generated considerable media attention, including stories by Fox News, the Vancouver Sun, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Japan Herald, Daily Mail (UK), and television stations in Texas, Florida, Washington and Rhode Island. Bond referendum in the news

The Election Day bond referendum about a new chemistry building on campus has started to receive media attention, including coverage in Providence Business News and Channel 10 and a brief mention in the Chronicle of Higher Education. Additional coverage is expected following a referendum campaign event on Oct. 4.
