House Calls

The recent announcement of a unique grant to the College of Pharmacy has received significant regional and online coverage. Awarded by the Center for Technology and Aging, the grant makes it possible for a pharmacist to visit the home of patients who have been discharged from the hospital to assess and help with their prescribed medications. Pharmacy Associate Professor Stephen Kogut is working collaboratively with the Rhode Island Department of Elderly Affairs to help reduce hospital readmission.
