Titanic anniversary

The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic has resulted in a huge number of news stories referencing Oceanography Professor Robert Ballard, who found the sunken ship in 1985. While most of those stories do not mention URI, many of them do. Among them are stories about a National Geographic documentary featuring Ballard in the London Telegraph, Straits Times, and Daily Examiner, stories about Ballard's desire to protect the remains of the Titanic in the New York Times, Yahoo News, New York Daily News, Vancouver Sun, USA Today, Detroit Free Press, London Telegraph, Hamilton Spectator, Ottawa Citizen, WJAR Channel 10, and Fox TV/Boston, the state of deep sea exploration on NPR's Marketplace, the opening of a Titanic exhibit at Mystic Aquarium in the Washington Post, and a lecture Ballard gave in California in The Desert Sun, and short features about him in the Washington Post and Providence Phoenix.
