Alton Jones 50th anniversary

The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the W. Alton Jones Campus this year has included a wide range of activities, from nature walks and reunions to the publication of a book and a formal rededication event with public officials.  And all of it has generated attention in the media.  For instance, the book has been featured in the Providence Journal, WPRO radio and Narragansett Times, the rededication event was reported by the Associated Press, the Kent County Daily Times, the Providence Business News, and the Chariho Times, and the nature walks were highlighted by EcoRI and the Narragansett Times.  In addition, stories about the bat research at the campus appeared in the Chariho Times, WRNI radio and EcoRI, and the Alton Jones youth camps were featured in the Westerly Sun.  A press release about the anniversary event can be seen here.
