Taking the Sting Out

Three URI students are on the trail of an invasive beetle that rapidly kills ash trees, but instead of searching for the beetle itself they are looking for wasps that feed on the beetle. Working with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, their work was the subject of a URI news release and media coverage. Dean's list announcement


The announcement of those students who made the Dean's List was met with enthusiasm by dozens of local newspapers reporting on the success of their hometown students.
