  • Grants to URI from the Champlin Foundations received coverage this week in the Narragansett Patch on Jan. 10 and Narragansett Times on Jan. 6, as well as in the South County Independent on Jan. 2.

Paton on CBS This Morning

Natural Resources Science Professor Peter Paton has become a spokesman of sorts for the snowy owls that have been moving into the Northeast this winter.  In the last month, he has been interviewed for stories in the Westerly Sun, Rhode Island Public Radio and Providence Journal, and on January 9 he appeared in a national news story on CBS This Morning.  Read the URI Today story about him here.
