Cancer research and space fashions
- The National Institutes of Health awarded pharmacy professor Wei Lu a $1.3 million grant to study a new class of inorganic nanoparticles that target primary cancer and help control the disease’s spread and recurrence. News of the grant was reported on Jan. 27 by numerous media outlets, including the Providence Business News, GoLocalProv, Lab Manager magazine, Drug Store News, and the Associated Press, whose story appeared in the Sacramento Bee and at least 16 other newspapers.
