A study of black bear populations in Rhode Island has received considerable media attention, including stories on Channel 12, EcoRI, and an Associated Press story that appeared in the Providence Journal, Channel 10, WPRO radio, Houston Chronicle and elsewhere.

An Associated Press story about research by Professor John King on offshore sand resources appeared on Channel 6, WPRO radio, Connecticut Post and the Albany Times Union.
