Dam study, tsunami, engineering bond

A study by engineering professor Aaron Bradshaw of the resiliency of the Scituate Reservoir dam received considerable attention, including stories in the Providence Journal, Providence Business News, Channel 12 and the Associated Press, whose report appeared in the Miami Herald, San Francisco Chronicle, Washington Times, Raleigh News and Observer, Biloxi Sun Herald, San Luis Obispo Tribune, South Carolina Enquirer Herald, Merced Sun Star, Greenfield Reporter, Channel 10, Channel 6 and WHJJ radio.  The URI news release about the study can be found here.

Engineering Rhode Island’s Future

On Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, corporate and government leaders joined with University of Rhode Island alumni, faculty and staff and other supporters to officially kick off the campaign, “Engineering Rhode Island’s Future,” at Toray Plastics (America) at Quonset Point in North Kingstown.
