Hiring plan, construction update, teacher prep report

The announcement that the University plans to hire 55 new faculty over the next four years was reported by numerous media outlets, including the Providence Journal, Rhode Island Public Radio, Providence Business News and the Associated Press, whose story was run by Channel 10, Channel 12, the Greenfield Reporter and others.  The URI news release about the announcement can be found here.
