Groundbreaking Research, Sweet Science

Groundbreaking research: Chemical Engineering Professor Otto Gregory’s findings and patent of sensors to detect explosives has received impressive coverage worldwide. The original news release and strong media contact generated interest from the Associated Press, whose story and photographs captured attention from media worldwide. Professor Gregory has been interviewed by the Associated Press, local television and more interviews are being scheduled.
As of Feb. 18, a Google roundup showed that more than 150 broadcast, print, and internet media outlets have carried the news, and it has trended on Facebook. Local broadcast coverage on Feb. 17 includes: Channel 12 and Channel 6.
